water heater and mommys-day-out

Thursday night phillip, myself, and our lovely lil child ventured to wal-mart for diapers and milk. When we left our house it was completely DRY so you can imagine how shocked we were to come home to a FLOODED kitchen. Luckily, we have tile and hardwood floors so no serious damage was done minus the bursted water heater! Our home warranty covered the heater we just have to pay a $55 service charge. Bad news is, we have to wait until tuesday when they can come out and replace it. Until then we are stuck without hot water. Good news is, my parents are at the farm this weekend so we will be moving in for a few days :)

Funny story though, I told Isaac he needed to stay in the living room, his bedroom, or his playroom but he was being nosey as to what me and phillip were doing in the kitchen. After about the 10th spanking I decided to ignore him so I could help Phillip clean up the mess. So, of course, he comes running through the kitchen full speed, slides on his side, and runs into the wall face first!!! hahahahaha Im laughing because he is just like his daddy-STUBBORN!!! hehe....

Aunt Hanny graced us with her presence today! We went to get some supplies for Isaac's first day of mommys-day-out tuesday! He got a diego backpack, wet wipe case, lunch box, a new einsteins toothbrush, etc...I am so excited for him to start this school! I know he will LOVE it! He loves being around other kids, and since I keep getting reports from his wonderful nursery teacher that he doesn't want to share with the other kids this will be perfect experience for him! I am cutting back my hours at work bc of his new schedule. I will be working tues, wed, and thurs until the end of march. Then I will only be working tues and thurs which will be GREAT this summer bc it means there's more days for me to get TAN!!! :)

So, I bet you guys thought I was kidding about Isaac's new obsession with coloring EVERYTHING. Haha!!! This is proof!!! That is our bedroom wall, and that is Isaac's art on it! Did he get beat? of course!!! Am I mad? nah, I figured it was coming sooner or later. We've had plans to paint our bedroom anyways, so this just adds to the motivation!! haha...

But doesn't he look soooo sweet :) I LOVE HIM!

Because of peer pressure..

I have decided to get a blog! I probably will not be updating this very often due to extreme busyness (is that a word? haha) with work and a one year old!!! This blog was also created because of Stacey Merriman who first, pressured me into getting Myspace IM, and who has now pressured me into getting a blog. Actually, I just saw that she had one now in a bulletin she had posted so I figured I would get one too hehe, but I had to have someone to blame!

Anyways, moving onto more "important" things. My child has just discovered that he LOVES to color and make crafts. So, as one would probably guesss, the crayons don't always stay on the paper. I have marks on the front door glass, my entertainment center, my floor, etc. You're probably thinking..."does she not watch her kid?" ummmm yes I do. Butttt you would have to know him!!! I think he hides the crayons when Im not looking. He's not allowed to color alone, but still he manages to get a crayon SOMEHOW from SOMEWHERE. I'm thinking he's been pushing them under the couch to save them for when we aren't giving him 100% of our attention. Nevertheless, he is an amazing little artist, and I am soooo proud of him :)

Also, I have started becoming more serious about photography. For Christmas, I recieved an AMAZING camera!! Anyone who has a myspace needs to check out my new photography page! Once I get more sessions completed I am going to set up an actual website and hopefully make some moneyyyy doing what I absolutely love to do!! So, if anyone needs photos done let me know! I would more than happy to them for you!!! I just did my sister, Hannah, and her boyfriend's pictures last week. If I can figure out how to upload them to this site I will....anyways, bye for now!!!
